The mission of the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) is to promote patient health and safety through credentialing programs that support lifelong learning.

Proposed CPC Program

The following documents are provided regarding the proposed CPC requirements as presented in August 2011. The requirements are up for review and modification at the January 2012 NBCRNA Board of Directors meeting.

2012-2014 Recertification

Watch your mail in early March for information.
Applications may be submitted beginning April 2, 2012.
Remember to notify us if you have a change of address.
Make sure you have earned 40 CE credits before you apply!

Chief Credentialing Officer

The NBCRNA is seeking a Chief Credentialing Officer (CCO) to administer their certification and recertification programs. The CCO will be responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience, low error rates and improving the speed and efficiency of operational processes.
