NBCRNA Media

The NBCRNA produces regular, timely communications to inform CRNAs, students, program administrators, CE vendors, other stakeholders, and the public about important developments and updates with regard to certification and recertification for nurse anesthetists.

The NBCRNA also periodically develops joint news releases with other organizations, such as the AANA, about collaborative developments. We provide support upon request to accredited providers to assist their efforts in communicating the value of certification. The NBCRNA also contributes to other publications that offer education and resources about Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).

NBCRNA Chief Executive Officer Inducted into the Fellowship of the American Academy of Nursing

John C. Preston, DNSc, CRNA, FAANA, FNAP, APRN, NBCRNA Chief Executive Officer, was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) on October 7th, 2023. The American Academy of Nursing (AAN) announced their selection for the Fellowship July 2023, and the Induction Ceremony and Soiree were held during the 50th Anniversary of the AAN Health Policy Conference in Washington, D.C.
