NEW: NBCRNA Refresher Program Transitioning to Reentry Program

With the upcoming implementation of the Continued Professional Certification (CPC) program starting in 2016, the NBCRNA will be transitioning its Refresher Program to the new Reentry Program. NBCRNA’s Refresher Program is designed for nurse anesthetists who have not been substantially engaged in the practice of nurse anesthesia for 3 or more years and must update their skills and knowledge of current clinical practice and theoretical practice in anesthesia in order to meet the prevailing standards of practice and to apply for recertification. The Reentry Program is designed for a similar purpose as the current Refresher Program; however, it will be in alignment with the CPC Program.
